Welcome to the Montana Cancer Institute Foundation
Our Mission Statement
The purpose of the Institute is to conduct basic, applied and clinical research in cancer and to foster the provision of full-continuum, high quality patient care through training and educational efforts.
The Institute conducts ongoing clinical trials for many types of cancer, including breast, prostate, colorectol, follicular lymphoma, renal cell, lung, and other cancer diagnoses. The clinical trials component is a highly active, aggressive program that continuously seeks and conducts trials involving state-of-the-art experimental treatments for cancer patients. Working with the Montana Cancer Consortium and other active cancer consortiums, the MCIF is able to offer patients a very large selection of trials and investigational treatments.

Cancer research takes many forms and extends to many disciplines. Research being done includes improving our understanding of the mechanisms of cancer formation, designing preventative measures to reduce cancer incidence, development of novel therapeutic agents, and improving post-surgical care and rehabilitation in cancer patients.
