Available as of August 2010
- Trial for metastatic non-small cell lung cancer involving 3 standard treatment chemotherapy options PLUS a biologic oral agent to maintain the response to treatment.
Link: Lung Cancer-Advanced Disease Study
- Trial for a blood disorder called HyperEosinophillic Syndrome. This is a very rare disorder, with limited treatment options. Almost everyone with this disorder would qualify for this study. (currently recruiting for patients)
Link: HyperEosinophilia Compassionate Use Study - Trial with standard of care Gemzar vs. Gemzar + infused novel agent in the setting of metastatic pancreatic cancer.Â
- Trial of adjuvant breast cancer treatment in HER2+ NON-metastatic breast cancer patients. Patients are randomized to oral novel agent vs. placebo after all other standard treatment is completed, including one year of Herceptin.Â
- Trial for metastatic HER2+ breast cancer that have failed Herceptin. Uses Herceptin bonded to a novel agent via antibody conjugation for targeted cytotoxic therapy vs. lapatinib/capecitebine.
- Trial for metastatic HER2- breast cancer for 1st OR 2nd line treatment using an infused 7day novel agent plus Docetaxel vs. Docetaxel alone.Â
- Trial for metastatic GPNMB expressing breast cancers (about 83% of all breast cancers) that have failed between 2-5 prior using an infused novel agent vs. Treatment of Physicians Choice.
Montana Cancer Institute Foundation is aggresively pursuing new treatment options for patients in the research setting, and will be adding new trials as we expand.
